GAAMAC III is the third global meeting of Global Action Against Mass Atrocity Crimes. GAAMAC is a network of states and civil society organizations working together to prevent genocide, war crimes, crimes against humanity and ethnic cleansing at the national level.
GAAMAC III will convene practitioners from governments, international and regional organizations, civil society and academia to discuss lessons learned and the way towards the implementation of national prevention architectures and policies.

The meeting will be held at the Lake Victoria Serena Golf Resort & Spa. If you require accommodation during GAAMAC III, we recommend the Resort, which you can book directly by sending an email to Mr. Tonny Mugume (email@example.com), with a copy to Ms. Doreen Nakanyike (DNakanyike@serena.co.ug), who will then guide you through the booking process. Meeting participants will benefit from special rates at USD150 per night (breakfast included).
All participants are required to make their own visa arrangements. Most nationalities require a visa to enter Uganda. Please follow this link to check if you are exempt, and apply for your visa online as soon as possible.
All travellers to the Republic of Uganda must have a valid Yellow Fever Immunisation card.
The closest airport to the meeting venue is Entebbe International Airport (EBB). From there, local transport to the hotel will be arranged following submission of your flight details to the GAAMAC Support Office.
During the meeting, lunch, dinner and morning and afternoon tea (including coffee, tea and mineral water) will be provided. Costs for meals and beverages not included in the meeting package will be borne by the participant.
The meeting will be held in English and French with simultaneous interpretation.
